Hi Folks! This is your Web host, Rock Reynolds, welcoming you to the “Samples” page!
The objective of Free Fiddle Workshop is “perfect fiddle music”. The samples from the links below are not perfect!!! As I improve my quality of play, I will delete the YouTube videos linked below, and will replace the videos with updated, improved samples. Check back to this page for the latest samples.
Technically, I have been playing the fiddle since spring of 1978. Spiritually, I claim that I just got started playing the fiddle, on 1 Sep 2016! For 33 years, I practiced inefficient fiddling techniques (proper training was withheld from me by numerous instructors). From summer, 2011, until 1 Sep 2016, I developed a new style of fiddling called “Workshop Style”. The samples linked below require improvement in bow smoothness, separation of notes, rhythm, timing, and intonation. I know how to prctice to make these improvements, but practice takes time.
